Under the governing statutes of the French Association Loi 1901, volunteerism (bénévolat) is defined as a voluntary, freely given commitment to public interest activities conducted without financial remuneration or subordination. Whether you possess technical outdoor skills, administrative acumen, or simply a warm desire to walk alongside neighbors, our organization provides a welcoming, structured environment where your contributions create direct local benefit.

1. Absolute Non-Remuneration

In compliance with French non-profit law, all volunteer activities are completely non-salaried. Our rewards are communal: elevated public health, shared camaraderie, and a preserved regional landscape.

2. Comprehensive Insurance Coverage

Every registered volunteer is automatically protected under the association's certified civil liability and bodily accident insurance policy during all sanctioned group outings and workdays.

3. Skill Sharing & Mutual Mentorship

Experienced naturalists, first-aiders, and trail guides freely mentor new volunteers, ensuring the continuous intergenerational transmission of rural knowledge and outdoor safety practices.

How to Join Our Volunteer Team

A straightforward four-step integration process designed to ensure safety, alignment, and mutual confidence.

Step 1: Submit Application

Complete the interactive civic volunteer application form below. Outline your availability, preferred engagement areas, and any specific interests (trail guiding, eco-maintenance, administration).

Step 2: Welcome Conversation

Our volunteer coordinator will contact you by telephone or email to discuss upcoming projects, address your questions, and invite you to our next Saturday morning welcome briefing at Mairie des Pujols.

Step 3: Trial Accompaniment

Participate in a guided field walk or path maintenance workday as a co-observer paired with a veteran volunteer. This allows you to experience our team dynamic without any formal commitment.

Step 4: Formal Registration

Sign our non-profit volunteer ethics charter and receive your official volunteer identification credentials and safety gear inventory allocation.
